In the context of the discharge process, the intention is to strengthen the democratic legitimacy of the Union's institutions, improving transparency and accountability and putting into practice the concept of performance-based budgeting, as well as good governance of human resources. I supported this resolution even if the work of the agency should be better promoted and its communication activities should be more targeted to increase the visibility of its performance.
