The agreement is at its third renewal and it proved to be an efficient framework for promoting dialogue and cooperation to develop research and innovation policies between neighbours. Best practices and coordinated projects brought to important reforms in the Ukrainian research system and the collaboration with the EU will continue in many sectors. Health, energy and food security are among the most promising ones, but in the future also social and digital innovation and the improvement of women careers in science and technology will certainly have encouraging developments.
