Causes Horizon 2020 and research in the Baltic States

Maria da Graça Carvalho participated as a speaker in the EPP Hearing on Horizon 2020 and research in the Baltic States - "Stairway to excellence. The Baltic example". This took place today in the European Parliament.

Ms Carvalho made a speech on Stairway to excellence in the first panel "Is existing situation satisfying? along with Prof Indrikis Muiznieks Vice-Rector for Research of the University of Latvaia and Indrek Reimand Head of Research Policy Department at the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia. The moderator was Krisjanis Karins MEP. The closing remarks were made by Professor Jerzy Buzek MEP.
