Maria da Graça Carvalho held a meeting in the European Parliament with the executive director of The smart Energy Demand Coalition - SEDC, a representative industry group dedicated to promoting the requirements of demand side programs in the European electricity markets.
The aim of the SEDC is to promote Demand Side programs such as, demand response, energy usage feedback and information, smart home, in-home and in-building automation, electric vehicle charging management, and other programs related to making demand a smart, interactive part of the energy value.
During the meeting, the representative of the smart Energy Demand Coalition, exchanged point of views with Ms Carvalho on energy efficiency measures at the EU level.
