Maria da Graça Carvalho held a meeting in the European Parliament with representatives of The Higher Education Wales Committee.
The Higher Education Wales Committee comprises all the Vice-Chancellors of the Welsh Universities and is chaired by Prof John Hughes, Vice-Chancellor, Bangor University. The other members are Vice Chancellors of Cardiff University, Swansea University, Aberystwyth University, University of Glamorgan, UW Newport, UW Trinity St David's, Swansea Metropolitan University, Glyndwr University and Cardiff Metropolitan University.
The purpose of the meeting was discussing key areas of the Horizon2020 proposals and potential opportunities for Welsh universities
